James Mooney has achieved Competent Adviser Status at INCO Financial, marking an important milestone in his career and the growth of the firm.
James joined INCO in early 2023, before the business had officially opened its doors. At the time, the office was still being completed and INCO itself was only just beginning to take shape.
Having joined at such an early stage, James has grown alongside the business, passing each of his professional exams, gaining valuable experience alongside INCO’s senior advisers and building strong relationships with his own clients. His progression has taken place alongside INCO’s own growth, as the firm has expanded its team, client base and presence.
Simon Megson, Managing Director at INCO Financial, said:
“Watching James develop into the adviser he is today has been one of the highlights of building INCO. He has worked incredibly hard, but just as importantly, he has built genuine relationships with clients and developed the judgement and communication skills that good financial advice depends on. I now genuinely benefit from having him in the room with me, which says a great deal about how far he has come.”
Achieving Competent Adviser Status means James is now advising clients in his own right and beginning to build his own client base throughout Sheffield and South Yorkshire.
His progression reflects the purpose of INCO’s trainee programme: to give future advisers the qualifications, experience and support they need to develop into confident, trusted professionals as the firm continues to grow.
Congratulations, James.
